About Las Vegas Display Fireworks Inc.

Bob and Greg...

Las Vegas Display Fireworks was founded in 1981 by Dr. Robert Winokur and Greg Gerstner, after years of fireworks displays together in Southern Nevada. Both Bob and Greg were avid fireworks enthusiasts, with Bob helping to pioneer display fireworks with his famous 40 WInokur glitter formulae, and Greg becoming a part of the entertainment industry during the early years of proximate pyrotechnics! From 1983 to 2000, one of Las Vegas Display Fireworks mainstays was Cashman Field and the Las Vegas Stars!

A new generation...

My name is Will Scott, and I am Greg's great nephew. Born in 1991, I grew up with my father and great uncle in this company, the family business. My first display with the company was in April of 1991, at 3 months old! Every company needs a mascot! in 2015 I took the helm of the company and soon after bought both halves from Bob and Greg! There has been a lot of learning along the way!
